Your personal driver-guide in Iceland


We start with a walk ( 15-20 minutes) in the oldest part of town. You will hear the main facts of the history of the town and see some old buildings, like the Parlament house and the Cathedral.

Then we drive in a minibus max. eight passengers and take a look at some main building like Harpa, the Pearl and Hallgrímskirkja ( the biggest church in Iceland ). In this circle we take a look at the outdoor works of two outstanding and much beloved sculpturers, Sigurjón Ólafsson and Ásmundur Sveinsson. Before we reach the museum of Ásmundur, we take a walk in Laugardalur partly through the Botanic Garden to an old washing place, where hot water came up from the ground and was used for a long time ( mainly in the 19th century) by the people of Reykjavík to wash their cloths.
